Collection NARI introduces a series of carefully considered pieces that balance function and expression, craftsmanship and contemporary design, produced by master craftsmen in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The collection brings together the warmth of WAGA’s legacy woodcarving with the raw surface of aluminium, creating both a rich and inviting dialogue between heritage and modern aesthetics.
Crafted from aluminium and hand-carved wood, available in FSC-certified solid ash or walnut, the collection is conceived as a thoughtful extension of the WAGA universe. It consists of a coffee table, two side tables, a console, and one complementary accessory – a storage box.
Each table in the collection is envisioned as more than a piece of furniture; it is an invitation to gather, to share, and to create connection, a principle something embedded in WAGA’s DNA.
The name NARI carries layered meanings: shaping, becoming, a wave, the feminine principle, and the meeting of elements. It is precisely this encounter – between wood and metal, craftsmanship and contemporary design – that forms the core of the collection.
The aluminium components function almost like plinths for an exhibit, presenting the hand-carved wood as an artwork created by master carvers, and in doing so, they too “serve” the object for contemplation and use.
